Bob de Goede, Dutch, made cigar boxes in the Dominican Republic for more than twenty years before launching his own brand there; his nickname, Xhaxhi (uncle, in Albanian), comes from a job in a mine in Albania, says cigarspartan.com. None of the factories that roll his lines belongs to him.
The first blends, including Mi Hermano, were born at the Kelner Boutique Factory, run by Hendrik Kelner Jr., says racccigars.com; Mi Hermano is rolled there with an entirely Dominican wrapper, binder and filler, in Petit Corona, for a medium-plus body, says cigarworld.de. Other lines are rolled elsewhere, notably at the Tabacalera El Artista, says racccigars.com. The Grey line, for its part, is rolled by Junior Torres at the Torres & Garcia factory, in Santiago, says Small Batch Cigar. The Sunset line carries an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper over a Dominican Habano binder and filler, for a mild-medium body, in Robusto, says Sir Louis Cigars.
As of September 2026, the catalogue also includes Baba Jan, Black, El Ingeniero, El Licenciado, Red and 7 Vikings, say Cigarworld.de and Sir Louis Cigars.
