D'Crossier

D'Crossier was founded in 2006 in Miami by Isaias Santana Diaz, who runs the import company Pure Aroma Cigars Inc.; the name comes, the company says, from his grandfather's surname, in tribute to his great-grandfather Francisco Crossier, a Frenchman who came to Cuba to grow vines before turning to tobacco. The first line, Golden Blend, came out in 2007 under the Diplomacy Series; a later extension, Golden Blend Reserva, is dedicated to the president's father, Isaias Santana Crossier (1945-2020).

The first D'Crossier cigars were rolled in Costa Rica, at Pure Aroma Cigars S.A.; that is where Pennsylvania Avenue was made in 2009, an extension of the Presidential Collection within the Diplomacy Series, aged for nineteen months in the company's warehouse in Hialeah Gardens (Florida) before shipping. Costa Rican production continued until 2016; since 2017, D'Crossier has rolled in the Dominican Republic, at ABAM Cigars S.R.L., in Villa Mella (Santo Domingo Norte) — a factory founded in 1996 by José Matias Maragoto and his uncle Adalberto Ruizcalderon. Flor de D'Crossier, with its Selección 512 in an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, opened this Dominican period.

The range also includes Imperium Class Vintage (Costa Rican Habano Criollo Especial wrapper), L'Forte (2014, Costa Rican wrapper, Dominican and Nicaraguan filler, full-bodied according to retailers) and Premium Blend, milder, under a fine, light Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper.
