Cuban Stock is a Santiago house that has just changed scale after twenty years of existence. Yaniv Levy founded it in 1996, at the height of the American cigar fever, and kept it going for two decades in two successive factories whose combined floor space did not exceed ten thousand square feet.
In February 2016 it opened a twenty-thousand-square-foot factory in the Tamboril free zone — two fermentation and ageing rooms of twelve hundred square feet each, forty workers at the opening, a hundred a few weeks later. Theoretical capacity went from 1.8 million cigars a year to ten million; Levy aimed at three million in the short term, and this entry keeps the goal rather than the capacity, because that is the figure he gave.
What it makes fits in a list rather than a signature: more than twenty active brands — Chubbys, Delicioso, Everyday Joe, Limitado, Reserve, Triumph, 231 — sold to retailers and never direct. It is a volume factory in the Dominican manner, without the family story its neighbours carry, and this atlas keeps it for what it is: one more Tamboril factory, with its name on the door.

231
