Casa 1910 bears the year of the Mexican Revolution, and its whole catalogue descends from it: Cuchillo Parado, its first cigar, is the village in Chihuahua where the uprising began; Tierra Blanca, El Ébano are battles; the Soldaderas, women who fought. The house was born in 2021, presented at the PCA show, by three partners — Manolo Santiago, formerly in Havana cigar distribution in Mexico and a graduate of the Habanos academy, Jamie Baer and Serge Bollag. Its purpose is to change what people think of the Mexican cigar, with puros from the San Andrés valley — the country this atlas tells at the Te Amo, Casa Turrent and Santa Clara entries.
What the entry lacks is what the press lacks: the house does not say which San Andrés Tuxtla factory rolls its cigars, and the trade press wrote so in black and white in March 2026. This atlas writes no entry without a named factory; it makes here the exception it made for Jas Sum Kral — the silence is documented, not invented — and notes what is named: the Soldadera, in 2023, was rolled at Tabacalera La Isla, in the Dominican Republic, and the Cavalry elsewhere than Mexico; both were discontinued in 2026 to keep only the Mexican.
For the house grew fast: price cuts and three million dollars raised in 2025, a chief executive from outside, Rob Maneson, a catalogue overhaul in March 2026 — three sizes common to every line, El Ébano expected for the summer — and Smoker Friendly, an American shop chain, taking a stake. A venture-capital house in a trade of families; this atlas says so without judging, and waits for the factory's name.
