Oskar Nausch, originally from Wuppertal (Germany) and settled for years in the Dominican Republic, runs the Tabacalera Don Esteban, a small factory in Santiago de los Caballeros. The German tobacconist cigarworld.de, which has worked with him for nearly twenty years, presents Capadura as his own brand, hand-rolled at this factory and distributed in Germany since June 2021 after starting out in Switzerland and Austria. A supplier portal (eldiquetrading.com), however, places Capadura among Don Esteban's productions alongside Samana, Cibao and numerous private-label brands made for third parties, without specifying whether Capadura holds the same private-label status or is a creation of Nausch's own; the exact standing — a house in its own right or a catalogue brand entrusted by a distributor — is therefore not definitively settled by the sources found.
The range on sale comprises ten variants according to cigarworld.de, whose filler blends Brazilian tobaccos; the distributor presents it as balanced, for lovers of medium cigars. No individual line is documented by name, wrapper or strength in the sources consulted; this entry therefore keeps to this overall description.
