Bohekio is a brand of Supreme Tobacco S.A., a Haitian company established in 2015 by three friends according to the house (four according to Neptune Cigar and Cigarcentury). The house says it grows its leaf in Mirebalais, in the Central Plateau, where it has irrigated the land and trained the growers, and presents itself as the only cigar manufacturer in Haiti. The cigars are hand-rolled at its own factory, Supreme Tobacco S.A.; the house does not name the commune where this factory stands.
Bohekio, the company's first premium cigar according to Cigar Coop, is launched at the PCA show in 2021: Haitian binder and filler, a Dominican habano wrapper, in four formats (Neptune Cigar dates the brand to 2015). The house names it in memory of the cacique of Xaragua. Next come Colors, added at the 2022 show, then the Maduro, shipped to retailers in early 2024 according to halfwheel, with a wrapper that is Ecuadorian according to the house and Dominican according to Cigarcentury. Liga 2 by Bohekio, sold in bundles by Neptune Cigar, combines a habano wrapper, a binder from the United States and a filler from Brazil and the Dominican Republic; Neptune says it is rolled in Haiti.
In October 2026, Neptune Cigar carries four lines in its catalogue (Bohekio, Colors, Maduro and Liga 2) and Black Box Cigar Club lists Colors and the Maduro, out of stock. The house cites resellers in Haiti, in the United States (distributor: City of Palms Cigar Distribution) and in Germany (Cigar World); the last dated post on its website is from 31 January 2025.
