Georg Baron von Ullmann junior, heir to the German banking family Sal. Oppenheim (according to the website cigarworld.de), and his partner Francisco Diaz Suarez bought a factory in the Dominican Republic to have a cigar hand-rolled there that was born, according to the house, from a personal idea before it became a commercial venture. The company is registered in the Dominican Republic under the name Baron Von Ullmann & Frandisuarez Corp., S.A. (Justia Trademarks, opencorporates.com), and has, according to a German tobacconist, been selling its cigars for around twenty years — long reserved for gifts before entering the trade. The town where the factory stands is not given by any of the sources found.
The current range pairs a Cameroon wrapper with a Dominican and Nicaraguan binder and filler (cigarworld.de). Two lines are documented: the Corona and the Gran Robusto Edición Limitada. The brand is distributed in Germany by several independent tobacconists.
