NATIONAL ARTISANAL PRODUCTION

Côte d'Ivoire has no Habanos representation. Its place in the atlas rests on an entirely domestic production: the leaf comes from the Tiébissou and Didiévi departments, in the Bélier region, and the rolling is done in Abidjan. The country is also West Africa's leading grower of tobacco leaf, but that industry is the cigarette one, in the north, around Bouaké.
