Umnum

Umnum belongs to Gesinta International Tobacco Company, a Spanish house established in 1997 by Ramón Zapata in Valencia, says Cigarworld.de. The house does not date the creation of Umnum, which Cigarworld.de describes as Condega's cheaper sister line.

Umnum cigars are rolled in Nicaragua at Aganorsa Leaf, through its factory Tabacos Valle de Jalapa S.A. (TABSA), the group's agricultural and industrial foundation in Estelí, Jalapa and Condega, owned by Eduardo Fernández and his son Max, says Cuenca Cigars. The filler blends tobaccos from Nicaragua and Honduras, grown in Jalapa and Estelí.

The catalogue distinguishes two lines, says Cigarworld.de: Umnum Nicaragua, Nicaraguan Sungrown wrapper and Indonesian binder, with earthy, coffee and hazelnut aromas, in five formats including the Canonazo (Robusto), the Hurakan and the Chaman; and Umnum Honduras, Honduran wrapper and Mexican binder, with a fuller-bodied, sweeter profile, in Champion and Robusto formats. As of September 2026, Cigarworld.de still sells both lines.
