Spartanos is the brand of the German wine merchant Jürgen Ring, owner of the Crazy Store in Bisingen; he takes the name from his years of martial arts and bodybuilding, and from the film 300, says Cigarworld.de. The first variant is made with Kurt Brandt, in Nicaragua; the cigars are rolled entirely by hand in Nicaragua, and the house does not name its factory.
A first series, in Connecticut and in Maduro, was sold until 2022. In September 2026, Cigarworld.de sells three lines, all in Robusto and of medium strength: Connecticut, a Connecticut wrapper over a Dominican binder and filler; Maduro, a Nicaraguan puro; and Limitada 2022, a Nicaraguan puro. Jürgen Ring also sells a Spartanos rum, says the same retailer.
