Santa Rosa de Copán has been rolling tobacco since colonial times: the town owes its development to a royal manufactory, and its historic centre grew up around it. Few places on the continent can claim so long a continuity between a town and a crop.
The present factory keeps that link alive. It rolls cigars destined mainly for the European market, with a classic Honduran profile — earthier than the Nicaraguan, fuller than the Dominican — and a consistency of manufacture that comes from the accumulated experience of a local workforce trained on site over generations.
It is, in this atlas, a case where the place outweighs the brand: one visits Santa Rosa de Copán for the factory as much as for the town, and its tobacco museum tells a story few country pages can offer.

La Flor de Copán Classic
The Honduran profile as expected: earth, wood, leather, a frank burn. An everyday cigar in the best sense of the term.
Corona · Robusto
Reserva
Longer-aged tobaccos, a darker wrapper, more cocoa and coffee. The upmarket move of the house, without a change of style.
Toro

Copán coffee
The region produces one of the best coffees in the country: the pairing is made within a few kilometres.
Honduran rum
Cane sugar and earth: two registers that hold together.
