J. Fuego is a factory in Estelí: the 7-20-4 entry says its cigars have been rolled there since July 2021. Here is who rolls them.

Jesús Fuego is Cuban, from Pinar del Río, fifth generation of a family that has grown tobacco since it acquired a farm in the El Corojo region — the very name of the varietal. An agricultural engineer, he devoted his thesis to fermentation, which is no small thing: it is the stage houses guard most jealously, and where the taste is decided. He worked in Honduras and Nicaragua, grew for others, and made his name alongside Rocky Patel and Nestor Plasencia — two houses in this atlas.

In 2006, he founded his own company. The first cigar, the Gran Reserva Corojo No.1, already stated the programme: Corojo, his family's leaf, at the centre of everything. Origen is a Corojo puro; 777 and Heat followed, then Sangre de Toro.

For ten years, he had his cigars rolled by others. In 2016, he opened his own factory in Estelí, across from Tabacalera Perdomo, and now spends most of his time there. That is where 7-20-4 moved in 2021, leaving Tabacos de Oriente in Honduras.

A word on 777: it is a J. Fuego brand, not a separate Honduran house.
