Daniel Schwizer and Andrea Moor set themselves the goal in 2015 of making cigars their trade, says their website; on it, in October 2026, Schwizer Trade GmbH gives an address in Ammerswil, in the canton of Aargau (Switzerland). Daniel Schwizer recounts on his website that the master blender Kurt Brandt put their idea into practice for the Helvada brand, and that a small gathering tasted its cigars for the first time on 23 May 2018. Cigarworld.de presents Kurt Brandt as a blender who has already left his mark on Flor Real and Isthmus, after working for a long time in Costa Rica and then in Nicaragua.
The house does not name its factory; its pages give Nicaragua as the country of origin and do not say how the cigars are rolled. Its 51, in the Gran Robusto format, carries a Habano maduro wrapper from Ecuador over a Jalapa binder and a Condega filler, in Nicaragua, and Dominican ligero, says the house. Cigarworld.de classes the Helvada line and the Dark Line as “totalmente a mano”, in longfiller, and the Medio Filler as “totalmente a mano” with a torn filler; it says the longfillers of the Dark Line Hearth are rolled in Estelí. A reader of Cigarworld.de reads, on 16 August 2020, the Hecho a mano band of the 51 as a machine-made filler under a hand-rolled wrapper, without being sure of it, and the house's page for the 51 repeats this text, under the name “schwizertrade”, on 25 December 2020.
By September 2026, the catalogue includes the Helvada line, in 51, 70 Gordo, 02 Salomones, 04 Salomones Oscuro and 91 Gigante, says Fumar.ch, the Dark Line, says Zigarren-online.ch, and the Medio Filler Medio Tiempo, a Short Robusto in the Cigarworld.de catalogue since 24 March 2025.

Medio Filler Medio Tiempo
Short Robusto 4 x 50, Indonesian wrapper, Nicaraguan binder and filler, in the Cigarworld.de catalogue since 24 March 2025, which classes it as “totalmente a mano (mediumfiller)”, that is, handmade with a torn filler. Medio Tiempo is the name of the vitola: the page does not describe the tobacco of the filler.
