CAO Cameroon

CAO Cameroon, which the house and retailers also call Cameroon L'Anniversaire, is a line from the CAO brand launched in 1998 for the house's 30th anniversary, which this retailer (cigarsdirect.com) dates to 1968. Retailers describe it with a Cameroonian wrapper, a Nicaraguan binder and filler, and medium strength.

It is rolled in Nicaragua: the listing for a Blind Man's Puff blind review (28 February 2024, Robusto vitola) gives the STG Estelí factory and Nicaragua as the origin; other retailers also give Nicaragua, without naming the factory. No page read places this line in Honduras. As for the "AVO XO" wrapper designation, no page read carries it.

Retailers describe notes of nuts, toast, cedar, mild spices and coffee (JR Cigars, cited as a search result); these descriptions vary from one site to another. The CAO brand now belongs to General Cigar, part of the STG group: articles say it was sold to Scandinavian Tobacco Group in 2007 and then placed under General Cigar after the 2010 merger (search results, not opened: to be confirmed before publication).
