Canned Heat is a cigar commissioned by Philipp Schuster, of the family house August Schuster GmbH & Co. KG, established in the tobacco trade in Bünde for more than a century — the house that also sells Ann-Eks. It is a Nicaragua puro rolled entirely by hand: maduro wrapper, binder and filler from the country, with ligero in the blend. Each cigar is sold in an individual metal tin, a can; finding the humidity that lets the tobacco mature in an airtight environment took a long time, says the house.
The Longfiller line, in Robusto and Gran Robusto, has been in Cigarworld.de's catalogue since 9 October 2015. The house does not name the factory that rolls it in Nicaragua, nor the town where it is located. As of September 2026, Canned Heat is on sale at Cigarworld.de and Paul-Bugge.com.
